"A lot of guys in the CFL don't work outside of football, because it pays you well enough that you don't need to," Mudge told the news provider. "I always did, because I wanted to set myself up for life after football."
Mudge explained that he began investing in undervalued properties and eventually became interested in equities and bonds as well, which is what made him realize he needed to pursue an MBA in order to succeed.
