Many people who have MBAs are often looked upon for advice in their sector of expertise. Because MBA programs offer such classes as ethical business and leadership and management, many executives believe that those with the esteemed degree may be a good fit when it comes to making business decisions.
SandForce Incorporated, which uses standard flash memory to transform data storage, recently announced the appointment of S. "Sundi" Sundaresh to its board of directors. In addition to having an MBA degree, he also has more than 15 years of experience of managing companies in the storage industry.
Most recently, Sundaresh was the president and chief executive officer (CEO) for Adaptec Incorporated. He has also served as the president and CEO of Candera Incorporated and Jetstream Communications.
"SandForce has a unique and significant technology advantage in the fast-growing SSD Processor market and it is exciting to see broad acceptance of their products in enterprise, client and industrial computing applications," said Sundaresh. "I look forward to helping this company drive their next phase of growth."
