Applying for acceptance into an MBA program can be a daunting task. Many prospective students can find themselves wracked with nerves as they complete their applications and anxiously await to hear back from their schools of choice.
Some MBA programs are beginning to incorporate more technology into their application process so that students can get creative with their submissions, according to BusinessWeek.
As a way to really get to know the applicant, some schools are giving the option of submitting the answers to an essay question through either video or audio form, so that students will be able to express themselves more than if they were to write their answer, which sometimes is not always truthful.
"A lot of business schools have concerns about authenticity," says Mae Jennifer Shores, assistant dean of admissions and financial aid at an MBA program. "This was a way to get a more authentic view of a candidate."
If you're interested in getting ahead in the business world, an MBA may be a great way to do so. Even if you are already in the working world, an MBA degree may be able to help you advance at a faster rate.
